The Troop 244 Webmaster project was developed to introduce Boy Scouts to IT topics such as:
- Configuration and Maintenance of Servers
- Development using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySql, and PHP)
- Agile Development Methodology
Scouts can serve as a webmaster for a 6 month term as part of a leadership requirement in their path to Eagle Scout.
In this program, in one 6 month term, a junior scout can be prepared to take a Scrum Master certification.
